Togo is a small francophone western country stretching about 700km in length from 50 to 150 km in width. The population is about 5,212,000 with Lomé as the capital. It borders Burkina Faso, Benin to the east and Ghana to the west. The south is touching the Gulf of Guinea. Its south western area is mountainous with Mount Agou ( the highest point of Togo at 986m) and Kloto Mountain located near Kpalimé. The official language in Togo is French and local languages are: Ewe, Kabye, Moba, Kotokoli. The currency is the CFA franc.
